Enzo Fernandez Reveals HUGE Chelsea Dream: Champions League or Premier League? (2025)

Enzo Fernandez's ultimate Chelsea ambition? To conquer either the Champions League or the Premier League! It's a bold statement, but one that perfectly encapsulates the aspirations of both the player and the club. Fernandez, who joined Chelsea in early 2023 for a staggering £106.8 million – a then-record transfer fee for a British club – has already tasted success at Stamford Bridge. He's a key player in Enzo Maresca's squad, who clinched both the Conference League and Club World Cup in the 2024/25 season.

Chelsea, under the ownership of the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital consortium, is aiming to build on this recent success, and Fernandez is right at the heart of their plans. The team is setting its sights on domestic and European glory, including the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and the Premier League. They're also hungry for a third Champions League title.

Fernandez has become a crucial part of Chelsea's midfield, with Maresca helping him become a more consistent goal contributor. This season alone, he's already notched four goals and one assist in 16 appearances across all competitions.

But here's where it gets controversial... or at least, where opinions might differ: Before his move to Chelsea, there was speculation about Real Madrid. However, Chelsea's swift action secured his signature.

With a contract running until June 2032, Fernandez has plenty of time to achieve his goals in West London. In an interview with Koora Break, Fernandez revealed his dream: "My dream is to win the Champions League or the Premier League with the club. We know what that means for the club. We try to represent in the best way every day and every game."

And this is the part most people miss... Chelsea's last Premier League triumph was in the 2016/17 season, led by Antonio Conte. Their second Champions League victory came in 2021, with a win over Manchester City in Porto.

For now, Fernandez's focus is on upcoming matches against Burnley, Barcelona, and Arsenal. These games are crucial for keeping Chelsea's Premier League and Champions League campaigns on track.
